I'm not sure how it's different - it seems to do the same thing kinda/sorta, no?
Without my reader, I'd NEVER keep up with all my blogs and you know I love you guys, right? ;)G6https://www.blogger.com/profile/15932781801654313054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8360283326769930021.post-36156453045755111672008-09-08T17:08:00.000-04:002008-09-08T17:08:00.000-04:00The reason you gave for not having a blogroll is t...The reason you gave for not having a blogroll is the same one I have... the possibility of implied consent.
Also, if someone adds me to their blog roll, and I also have a blog-roll, it would be "good manners" to add their blog to my roll. But if I disagree with them, or even if they simply don't write well (making the blog a waste of time), I feel that it would not be fair to my readers to have them on the blog roll. So not having a blog roll at all saves me from that predicament.
In addition, , when I see bloggers with a blog roll of 35 blogs or more, I wonder if they really keep up with them, and recomend them, or if they just add all the people who have added them?

With the new "follow" feature of blogger, I hope to be able to keep up with about 20 blogs (10 Jewish and 10 special-needs), as I will not need to "check" for posting, just go to newly-posted ones. But even that is time consuming, and I am paring slowly the list to the better ones. I will try new ones (which I run into from comments, or posts like your on Frum college girl). This type of post, in my mind (a linking post, is a much bigger better way of telling people what you like without implied endorsement. (I have even posted links, saying specifically that this article is good even tho'I disagree with them on some issues...)rickismomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07817042750959998664noreply@blogger.com
