Scene Around Town - Snowstorm Edition
There's nothing like the "calm after the storm". Whereas last night, we were stranded in a snowbank mere blocks from the warmth and comfort of our house on the way home from a family simcha, today dawned clear and bright, with a fresh blanket of snow for children and adults alike to enjoy. The flakes kindly waited until Shabbos was almost over to make their debut, and since today was not a "work" day for most, it was the perfect time for a neighborhood excursion. Here are some photos that I snapped on our outing:

Is that R' Gelley?
What do you navigate the hills in the Heights when they ice over??
that should be "how", not "what"
It's Rav Mantel.
And we navigate s l o w l y :)
"flakes kindly waited until Shabbos was almost over" - yes, I was glad that we didn't have to scrape the sidewalks in the dark as soon as Shabbat was over as in past winters. Most of the shoveling came in the morning.
The pictures are beautiful and merely confirm my belief that snow belongs on film but NOT in my sidewalk and yard. And this is only the beginning of the winter season.
Those pictures are AMAZING! Is it ok to print out the pic with Rav M.? thanks!!

Glad you like them. I really love the Rav Mantel picture too.
If you want it for strictly personal use (thanks for asking permission, by the way - it's much appreciated) you can surely print it.
I have it cropped differently for different sized prints though, so if you want a decent print quality, email me which crop size you want and I'll be happy to send you the file.
P.S. I've already printed Rav M.'s copy :D
It's Hamodia-worthy
Beautiful pictures.
(And Rebbe card worthy?)
