Wednesday's Wacky Signs

Why shouldn't the parents keep their skills sharp as well?

I don't understand it! The square root of 676 is 26 & the square root of 729 is 27. How can they prove that you were going 26.01922366354 mph, rather than 26.01922366353 mph?

I'm guessing Yekkishe that they won't have to worry about calculating those numbers. I'd bet that parents seeing the sign are going to slow down or stop altogether to see if they could possibly be reading the sign right and just what number is being talked about. Of course, that only works the first time that a driver sees the sign. After that it will probably be speed as usual.
