Did you know that some people have a minhag not to hang up greenery because it is following the chukos hagoyim who hang up greenery during their season of xmas? I found that interesting when I heard that recently.
True, but the Ashkenaz Rabbanim were always careful to continue the Minhag the way it was originally and were not concerned for this opinion (of the GRA). I love those pictures, thanks for posting them. Shame on all those sites for not crediting their sources. Sloppy work at best; stealing is a better term. Really quite pathetic. They should be taken to task for it.

I just learned in college that is plagiarism, "to use another's production without crediting the source". I would fail the course if I do something like that.
